Providing advice and experience learned from running and preparing 3 x VW Golf CUP cars we have finely tuned Fred’s completely standard Scirocco R into a highly capable Scirocco Track Car.

Being new to track driving, we focussed initially on the safety requirements. The car was stripped to a bare interior and a full roll cage, safety seats and harness were fitted. Along with stripping of any non-essential items.

We then gradually improved the UP Racing Scirocco as Fred’s driving and track experience improved. Custom computer and coding work has been carried out to adjust the ABS and traction control settings for a more track focussed experience.

We have improved handling with a full Bilstein Clubsport suspension kit, harder swaybars and modified geometry. Further to this a custom made AP Braking system was designed and manufactured in conjunction with our friends at Braketech. 

In conjunction with Parker Motorsport Design, additional aerodynamics were designed, manufactured and added to Fred's vehicle. This will help Fred achieve his goal of racing on slick tyres in his first competitive events season.

Future upgrades will include custom tuning to the engine and DSG transmission to move this Scirocco track car up to circa 360hp.
